After a long road trip. Union Pacific 844 is heading for home on a frosty November morning in Utah's Weber Canyon. The cool morning air allows for a rare white plume of smoke out of the 844.

Between Inkom and McCammon, Idaho lies this beautiful Lava rock canyon. It's early morning in the fall and UP 4286 races eastbound with a stack train.

Here is classic Santa Fe train for you. Four locomotives, four locomotive times. SF30-C 9541 F40-C 5266 SD45-2 5806 and GP50 3827 on the eastern edge of Flagstaff heading westbound.

With a fresh paint job UP 6274 leads a Valmy coal train through the waters of the Great Salt Lake on the ex Western Pacific.
