Conrail Blue was not common in late 1976 and catching a freshly painted U25B in fresh snow was an excellent way to end a day back then.
A pair of U25-Bs power an Eastbound at ZY. This train did not stop for a crew change, so it may have been a Buffalo to Sayre train, as they rolled non stop thru Hornell.
It took a lot of work to bring this Kodachrome II (ASA 25) back. Note, no intermodal on either train!
This unit started out as EL I'm told.
