3 GE U36B demonstrators are westbound on Penn Central train LS3 at Canfield Jct. Ontario. Apparently this was a short lived model at GE where less than 150 were built.

Two CPR H Liners and two C Liners are heading north on the Windermere Sub toward Golden, BC. On the head end are car loads of wood chips for the paper mill at Skookumchuk.
The Iris G has just 'set sail' from Rosebery, BC on its way to the south end of Slocan Lake with loads of lumber from the mill at Nakusp. It is difficult to find a more tranquil setting than this... (more)
A CPR 5 unit set with matching paint is headed west on the Laggan Sub at Lake Louise, AB station. Note the manicured lawn next to the station platform which was typical of CPR during this time.
