A chartered excursion for the Lexington Group has arrived and is preparing to return north on a great Indian Summer afternoon.

The engineer climbs into Milwaukee Road 32A at St. Paul Union depot to start the night's duties. In reality, this was a night photo shoot at the depot as part of Train Days.

Showing some of its faded New Haven orange paint, Penn Central E40 4974 has been put out to pasture in the Harrisburg engine terminal. Sadly, none of these classic electrics eluded the scrapper.
