After its stop at the Milwaukee Intermodal Station the Empire Builder begins accelerating out of the Menomonee Valley early on its long journey west.

With the latest round of snow starting in Southeastern Wisconsin the Empire Builder makes its way west through the Miller Valley after its stop in Milwaukee.

What a day makes. Yesterday I wondered why the Alco was in an easy to photograph location, this evening I found the answer.
