Conrail transfer job JR-2 is nearing the end of its run at Browns Yard. The catenary poles are a reminder of the PRR electrification on this route which was originally the Camden & Amboy RR.

Conrail JR-2 carefully crosses the center swing section of the Raritan River bridge with former EL 3677 in the lead. The fishermen barely seem to notice the passage of the train.

Norfolk Southern SD45-2 1705 leads the SA22 to AmeriSteel in Parlin, NJ on former Raritan River Railroad trackage.

These 4 units will pick up a rock train at Ray yard. Then the 2 SD40-2s will haul part of the rock to Plano and the 2 SD45-2s will take the rest to Royce City.

This was the highlight of the day, 1701 smoking it up with 2 other EMDs. What a sight and sound.....
