After suffering a traction motor failure, CP 2317 was sent to aid the ailing 2246 in pulling the American version of the holiday train as it heads north out of Hamilton, Ontario.

Canadian Pacific Railways 2317 (4-6-2, Montreal Locomotive Works, 1923) operating at Steamtown NHS in Scranton, Pennsylvania on July 18, 2009. The locomotive has been out of service since 2010.

CP 2317 heads light past the DL Bridge 60 Tower I'm Scranton back in 2007. The 2317 has long since been removed from service with no plans to return it to service as of now.
