There was a fair amount of NS power on UP's intermodal trains they turned up a few times on this Z one of them performing DPU duties.
A late running Z hustles through Sloan with the 7 dispatcher asking "You guys gonna make Vegas?" They did. Lots of NS power on today's trains.
An eastbound "B" train (baretable) twists through Sloan. Here in Vegas a few trains made regular appearances including this one.

My very last train of this trip... a UP hotshot intermodal with autos thrown in descending Sloan with an ex SP motor 2nd out. Wife's business trip brings me to Vegas, she teaches I chase UP.
Though my wife would rather chase the UP with me, she has to teach, (why we are here). First of our last day for now out here was this UP coal train. We have to come back in March.
UP was busy this day through Vegas, my last train of about 8 seen today was this heavy coal train clawing by an abandoned tunnel in Sloan.
