A nice red, white and blue suprise for the 4th of July. What could be more fitting? Empty ethanol train heading to Minnesota City, MN and the hand-off to the DM&E for the trip west.
DME train 170 slowly makes its way towards Control Point 286 where a new crew will take over for the trip south to Marquette, IA.
Train 276 with the CITX 3059, DME 6074 and CITX 3061 head south towards LaCrescent Yard where they will swap power with CP 637.
On the drive home from work I heard the BNSF 8133 West getting permission to head west from LaCrescent, MN on the CP River Sub. A quick U-turn was in order since BNSF SD60Ms are rare on the CP. I... (more)
