The 315 crosses the trestle at Los Pinos. This was a photographers special with the train carrying the photographers running ahead of it. They sure missed a lot of photo opportunities.

Remarks:
A mid-afternoon southbound service pulls out of Mt. Baker Station; the train will shortly return to street level for the run down the Rainier Valley. The flared tips on the catenary poles are supposed to be an artistic representation of something or other, but frankly I can't remember what.

Remarks:
A lone Seattle-bound passenger awaits the next northbound train at Mt. Baker Station as a southbound departs for almost-the-airport (the extension to actually reach SeaTac opens December 19th). The translucent panels lining the elevated platforms give the station a pleasant golden glow in the early morning hours.

Remarks:
The Unstoppable train rolls west above Guernsey Street during filming. The emergency vehicles are staged for the movie. There were alot of locals used as extras, but the firefighters on the left are actors. In the distance, St John's Chuirch is looming in the background. The B&O CPL signal, turned to the side and long out of use, still stands as a reminder of the identity of the original owner/opertaor of the great bridge and viaduct in Bellaire.
