LV's red or D&H's lightning stripe looked best on the C-420s, but you can't say that 415 looks bad in the solid blue with stripes.

PIME snakes thru the S-curved bridge at Wampum. This bridge had a 10mph speed restriction on it at the time. NS has since replaced this bridge with a new one.

501 & 2304 have just been washed at the Colonie shops.

The G&W used to host an open house at the Retsof shops every Spring. This is a view out the back door of the shops of 1976 as it sits on the dead track with its stack capped.

A Westbound crests the grade on the Meadville Line out of Hornell. Tip Top was locatd at the top of the grade. A rebuilt U25-B for N de M is in tow. This line is now operated by the WNY&P.
