B&LE 909 leads the morning Proctor Roadswitch downgrade towards the dock in Duluth. Temp was -16F this morning with a windchill warning in effect.

B&LE power could be found on ore trains over the CNW Wisconsin Division in the '70s. 839 and 823 assist the 836 with 144 cars, 92 are ore empties on this westbound move.

Its a beautiful day for railfanning in North Bessemer! The Bessemer has just pulled in with a heavy train of iron ore pellets as the Union railroad awaits departure.

With it's long string of hoppers loaded with Taconite Ore, B&LE 905 is working hard as it heads into the morning light.
