BL2 57 was paired with F3A 44 for an excursion from Northern Maine Jct. to Milo. A head-on shot is snapped prior to departure from Derby Yard, still in use today by the MM&A.

This was painted in a classic scheme designed to take advantage of the contours of the magnificent machine.

"Chicken wire" Fs were relatively rare to begin with and unheard of this late but here's one still in service.

Bangor and Aroostook had one of the nicest paint schemes before they ruined it by going all blue with yellow letters. Pennsy had this unit on lease in Johnsonburg, PA in the summer of 1960.

This was a great little operation, known locally as the "B&A", not BAR. I believe these are referred to by the rivet counters as Phase II F-3s.
