After spending several hours rerailing at Cavendish, VT RS-1 #405 along with its plow are on there way to Bellows Falls about to cross Route 103 in the waning sunlight.

Vermont Railway employees work hard at chiseling ice out of the crossing after GMRC 405 derailed its front truck while pushing the plow extra toward Rutland.
We caught up to the VRS plow extra just in time for it to derail on a crossing. VRS crews along with the Town of Cavendish rerail RS-1 #405.
