Ore loads take the curve out of Fairlane for Proctor

As the last light of the day fades to darkness, DMIR 405, DMIR 409 and BLE 909 run track speed south down the Missabe Subdivision for Proctor with steaming taconite pellets in tow.

Cutting through the thick morning fog, a limestone train from Proctor makes it's way north to the Minorca mine.

CN ore cars are finally starting to get a thick coating of taconite dust, which takes away the sheen and imho makes them look better. This picture also shows why the Missabe used maroon!
