The first CNW GP9 to enter the Oelwein rebuild program was #1720, it emerged in 11/71 as the CNW 4301 seen here at Wyeville with 88 cars.
All the train on the trestle...almost. CNW's Shoshone local returns from the great westerlands of Wyoming on a (none other than) windy spring day. Not uncommon by this time to see just 1-3 cars.
