The Wax Train is headed south.
This is the first NS Heritage Unit I've seen. Here it is highballing west near Shawmut, AZ. The desert is starting to green up with the recent warm weather (near 90!) and some decent rains.

A westbound train is crossing a rural road west of Bushnell, IL. The photo was taken with a long lens (300mm) that exaggerates the rough track. This engine is ex Algoma Central 1752.
Early days on the Copper Basin...here is the OT-1 westbound leaving Hayden yard with an ex Kennecott Copper unit, an ex SP SD39 and an ex NP GP9 headed westbound to the mine.
Copper Basin 304 on its first day of service after being repainted from ICE colors into the now standard scheme. This is ex ICE 4207, nee SP 7246.
This clean unit is headed west with a long string of bare tables in the late afternoon.
The old and the new...here CBRY 303 (2nd) is passing GP9 #206. The 206 is ex NP 244 and has been sold to a shortline in Illinois.

The passenger train is southbound near Graphic as it crosses this old bridge. With all of the older equipment shown here this photo could have been taken 40 years ago!
