NS Highhood 5192 sits next to the newest AC44C6M rebuild by the Juniata Shops this afternoon. 4494 was rebuilt from C44-9W 9152.
Admiral Cab SD40-2 3235 sits outside the Juniata Shops this morning. On the next two tracks are frames for 2 SD40-3 rebuilds 6404 and 6406.
NS 6401 getting some work done just outside the shops this morning. This was rebuilt from NS 3568
NS 6224, basks in the morning sun in Altoona. Having had the finishing touches added to it. This will be heading to Buffalo NY soon.
NS 4492, brand new and not released yet, is with sister units 4491 and 4487. Basking in the afternoon sun.
NS 3518 and 3520 with their future SD40-3 numbers on the fuel tanks, are outside the Juniata Shops, awaiting time to get rebuilt

After a successful trip to Harrisburg and back earlier in the day. The "New" OCS power is hanging out near the Test Track before being moved onto a Yard Track to be stored.
NS 3518 rests at the Turntable, right before sundown, next to the frame for the 6406. The 3518 has written on it's fuel tank. 3518/6407. An SD40-3 rebuild.
NS 3357, one of the old helpers of the Allegheny Mountains. Is at the Juniata Shops for work.
NS 4488, ready to be picked up to go to work, basks in the late afternoon sun at the Juniata Shops. This was rebuilt from GE C44-9W 9145
NS 8098, The Conrail Heritage is spun on the Turntable with it's prime mover removed. Getting an overhaul.
NS 3520 and 3518 which are both former Burlington Northern units 6847 and 7071, both which are possible cores for the new SD40-3 program.
NS 4704, 647, and Brand New 4488 are waiting to be picked up at the Juniata Shops, the 4704 and 647 had PTC added to them and are heading back to Chicago where they are assigned
Things are looking good for NS 1635. At the Turntable with rebuilt Trucks, the unit will soon go back to work.
