The first train of the afternoon to depart the Grand Canyon Village gets underway on the Grand Canyon Railway, with two F40's to pull the train south to Williams.
After the first train departed the South Rim Village station, Grand Canyon Railway train two has been positioned at the platform for boarding and an on time departure at 4:30 PM.
With two F40's on the point, the second daily Grand Canyon Railway train departs the South Rim village of the Grand Canyon for the trip south back to Williams.
Alco FPA-4 #6776 sits at the Grand Canyon Station at the South Rim welcoming visitors as they step off the train after a 2 hour train ride. The engine was moved to this location in 2016.
