| They Just Look Right: There is just something that looks right about an F40 on the point of a passenger train. These stocky looking units were a staple of Amtrak for years, and still for many commuter agencies. This is no retirement for the husky passenger units though, with a respectable track speed of 40 MPH on the main, they can still get out and stretch their legs. Here the daily train waits to return to Williams from the South Rim. |
