Smoke from a fire in Yosemite has begun to creep into the Tehachapi Mountains as a lone ES44AH heads up the ILBSE 29 as it cruises downgrade into Tunnel 2.

The "Oil Cans" (BKDOU, Bakersfield to Dolores CA unit train) climbs the grade at Bealville in the Tehachapi Mountains. Head end power is an SD40T-2 and five flared SD45s.
