Australia - Zig Zag Railway, NSW

Zig Zag Railway is a heritage railway near Lithgow, NSW which was part of the Main Western line by-passed by ten tunnel deviation in 1910. Re-opened with 1067mm gauge in 1975, it has a switchback on 1 in 42 gradient, 2 tunnels and 3 stone arch viaducts. |
