After running around there train, NYSW WS-4 head east past the historic Hawthorne station building. Leading the train is the railroad's SD40-2 3024, wearing a recently applied heritage scheme.
NYS&W's recently painted heritage unit works in PC Yard on an overcast afternoon. The paint scheme chosen for 3024 was first appeared on Susquehanna RS-1s in the mid-1950s.
