Conrail C430 #2050 was receiving work at the old EL shop in 1977. Who would think that in 5 years it would return to become a NYS&W unit.

WNY&P train DFT smokes it up as they pull North through CP-EMPORIUM on the Buffalo Line. Only 16 C430s were built, and of that only 5 remain, with 4 of those 5 residing with the WNY&P.

With sister road WNY&P leading, the daily LA&L road freight heads north to Rochester with a decent sized train for interchange to CSX and R&S.
