Amtrak Missouri River Runner train 313 departs downtown St. Louis as it begins its evening trek to Kansas City.

Westbound grain train led by a clean ES44AC and a clean UP Tier 4 loco glides west on the UP Jefferson City Sub towards the Grand Ave. Interlocking.

Former GM&O GP-35s riding on ALCO trucks pass beneath the St. Louis Arch on the TRRA.

Leaving the city known as the Gateway to the West, the last Missouri River Runner heads west for Jefferson City and ultimately Kansas City in the afternoon light.

Down by the station. Amtrak Midwest #4612 sits in the station while the westbound Missouri River Runner and the eastbound Texas Eagle take on passengers on the outer platform.

A faded Santa Fe Warbonnet finds itself on the point of a transfer from TRRA's Madison Yard as it makes its way through downtown Saint Louis on the elevated Terminal trackage.
