Conductor Chris sticks his head out of the cab of CP 6038 heading a 581 through Winona.
Heading right towards the setting sun, a pair of nice matched candy apple Soo SD60's head a monster 281 "Ford Train" for St Paul. Sure was a nice break between studying for finals!
Soo 6034 and Soo 6044 find a patch of sun as they guide loaded tanker train 668 down river.
When I went out to catch Amtrak 7, I got word of 2 west bounds running ahead of it. First one sure was a nice surprise with a 5800 series SD40-2, and Soo SD60. Check out that number board on the 5... (more)

Thumbs up go out to Scott W. for getting a P42DC to smoke like an Alco. Thats talent! Amtrak 8 throttles up for a second spot, before taking off for La Crosse.
