Remarks & Notes
Early E-60 action with no windshield grilles, as the 970 blows by the southbound platform at Aberdeen at 80 mph. The Penn Central Deepwater Green station signs were replaced by Amtrak about a year or two later. No. 970 was built by GE in March of 1976, and was only a few months old at the time of this photo.
