After meeting two westbounds at Lakeview, grain loads (plus some merchandise) head for La Crosse.
CP 8839 and CP 9816 head train 330 into Winona. The first five hoppers behind the units were all D&H.

After a brief stop a mile back to check a "hot axle", the CP 8839 is underway once again.

An eastbound freight makes a fine sight, kicking fresh snow up from the tracks on a clear morning between Sedan and Brooten.
Behind the CP 8839 are: CP 6028, CP 8852, and a SOO LINE MP15 1555. This train is over 6,900 feet long, but most of that will be set out at Hoffman and Hankinson.
