A box car decides to go for a dip in the Puget Sound as a 2am derailment creates this little mess. Both mains were blocked for 24 hrs. Nobody was hurt and nothing was spilled into the Sound.

Switch goes left, line goes right, train goes down the middle. BNSF 5969 with BNSF 5792 pick the switch for the Ottawa Beach spur. Only one coal hopper went off the tracks as well.

Remarks: CN 781 derailed on the siding of Val-Alain while CN 148 was waiting main line. 2 locomotives (5788, 5649) and 5 cars off the track. Lucky !
