The 499 waits in the siding at Murray. The first of two eastbounds out of Glenwood is already past. The second will be along shortly and then they will resume their trip west.

First train of the day is an excellent one, 3 SD40's head east with 68Q bound for New Jersey from CP Trackage and with DM&E and IC&E power leading the way.

The train out of Mason City is made up and on the move a mile out of the yard with the class unit of the SD40-2 fleet leading, crossing the first river on its eastward trek.
