The DM&E Jordan Spreader is westbound on the Jackson Sub trying to open the line up. The spreader is near MP 110, just east of Huntley. Huntley is located 12 miles east of Fairmont, MN.

After meeting trains 171 and 271 at the Kains siding approximately seven miles north of town, 270 heads south through Lansing, IA.

The highest numbered unit on the DM&E roster grinds upgrade on the head of 487 bound for Huron, SD.

DM&E 6094 glimmers in the last hour of sun as it heads a 171 up river.

Train 486 set off a unit at Winona, MN and then had to pick up a unit, DME 6413, off of train 487 at LaCrosse, WI. A matched blue and yellow set headed east for Chicago.

About 5 miles south of River Jct.

DME train 171 has been called in the afternoon at Marquette, IA lately allowing for late afternoon photo opportunities along the Marquette Subdivision.
