Southbound Crescent

The Crescent is moments away from its stop in downtown.

A VERY late Amtrak #19 pulls out of Atlanta heading to New Orleans.

The Crescent, running several hours late passes Duluth on his way to Atlanta.

Amtrak normally uses CSX main 1, to the far left, to get in and out of the station, but this day they ran down Main 2 and backed into the station due to a broken rail on Main 1.

Southbound Crescent meets NS 204 at Duluth. They are passing in front of the railroad museum.

Southbound Crescent is finally able to go. He was delayed due to CSX Q682 going into emergency over the interlocking at Howell.

Passengers aboard Amtrak's Crescent have a great view as they cross the Susquehanna.
