A train with 132 loads of taconite pellets cruises down the Missabe Subdivision and past M.P. 51 on a warm early spring day in northern Minnesota.
DMIR 409,408 are southbound near Zim with loads from the Fairlane plant headed to Proctor. At the time the Fairlane plant was producing two to three loaded trains a day.
DMIR 405,403 are southbound near Zim with loads from the Fairlane plant headed to Proctor. The clean power was typical for the DMIR into the 90's.
