UP 3985 rides the turntable at Cheyenne after returning with the Laramie to Cheyenne leg of an all-day excursion out of Denver for the Rocky Mountain Railroad Club.
On its deadhead east (on the former C&O), and then south (on the former Clinchfield--but always in the same direction), UP's Challenger gets a shot of Alemite at a crew change at Shelby, KY.
