On a day that honored past volunteers, and celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the Adirondack Railroad, the 1845 waits to take its passengers back to Utica Station.

An Adirondack Railroad ballast train lays over in Tupper Lake, NY. Though New York State tore out the line north of here to Lake Placid, it is rebuilding the line between here and Big Moose.
