On the Santa train's block came this northbound mty train of SCWX aluminum hoppers bound for Shelby.
The deadhead northbound movement of the 2009 Santa train rolls through Kermit at track speed. The eight car train is led by an ex-Clinchfield SD40-2.
As the southbound coal train that just met it recedes into this distance this single-unit empty man throttles up. The isolated Scott Co. hamlet will soon resume its usual somnabulance.
