VIA 24 from Ottawa is about to pass Turcot Ouest with wrapped VIA 6416 leading.

The Pointe St-Charles Switcher has just arrived at it namesake yard from the Port of Montreal and is shoving eight cars from there into the yard with CN 4140 & CN 7060 for power.

VIA 6420 is returning from CAD with two refurbished stainless steel cars (VIA 8123 & VIA 8109).

The Pointe St-Charles Switcher is heading towards Ardent Mills to pick up some grain empties. A rail yard used to be where the building in the background is located.

A pair of GP9's are returning to the main line after dropping off grain cars at Ardent Mills. They are crossing Charlevoix Street and a crewmember is flagging.

VIA 35 is passing CN 305, which is awaiting a new crew at Turcot Ouest. VIA 35 for Ottawa hias VIA 918 and four HEP cars.

Spring is slowly making its way to Montreal, at least the snow is almost gone as VIA's F40 PH no. 6416 pulls VIA 24 from Ottawa past milepost 3 of CN's Montreal Sub, about half an hour late.

VIA 60 from Toronto is passing a couple of CN trucks at the St-Ambroise crossing.

After a cold spell the Lachine Canal is still frozen as VIA 24 with VIA 902 and a HEP consist crosses it.

With downtown Montreal visible in the background, the Pointe-St Charles Switcher is heading east light to pick up cars at Ardent Mills, visible at right.

CN X309 is departing Turcot Ouest with a pair of ET44ACs (CN 3223 & CN 3151) for power.

CN 4140, CN 4720 and shoving platform CN 79834 are up front as the Pointe St-Charles Switcher heads back to the main line with four empties from Ardent Mills.
