| CPKC's transcontinental mainline reaches Lake Superior at Heron Bay, mile 56 of the aptly named Heron Bay Subdivision. For 200 miles the rails are nearby the very rugged north shore towards Thunder Bay. Here is CPKC's flagship intermodal train, the 101 with 9500ft of priority traffic twisting out of Heron Bay heading towards Marathon. |
