Remarks & Notes

The Apache Railway is seen pulling into the yard at Holbrook where they interchange with BNSF as one of the many stack trains that pass through each day speeds by on the main. Locomotive 98 led the large train of hoppers, tank cars and empty flat cars that were used to bring wind turbine towers South for an ongoing project. 98 was built in 1965 for Canadian Pacific by the Montreal Locomotive Works. The Apache runs an all Alco/MLW roster.
