Remarks & Notes

The fog is just beginning to lift, as a westbound Susquehanna freight led by an Alco Century 430 rumbles across historic Starrucca Viaduct in the fall of 1985. We had made the trip to see D&H detour trains from the Belden Hill Tunnel project, and it was an added bonus to catch some Susie-Q action.
