“Rode Hard and Put Away Wet” Seen here at Conklin Yard on 09/14/1987, D&H 35797 (D&H class NE6) extended vision caboose was built by International Car Co. in 10/1971 as RDG 94116.
On Conrail Day One (April 1, 1976), RDG 94116, along with nine others (94110-94115, 94117-94119) went to the D&H.
Appropriately, this original Reading caboose was subsequently acquired by the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society in 1989.
