Farewell! The HHP was done with service in November of 2014, and now we say farewell to the AEM-7 tomorrow, June 18, 2016. The ACS-64 is likely to be the face of conventional trains on the NEC for several decades, if not longer. It is an exciting time to be around for so much change and advancement, and I'm very glad I have some colleagues who agreed it was a good idea to capture this changing of the guard image. The setting winter sun provided some nice symbolic lighting for the two older types.
