Another weekend at Oyster Bay finds LIRR222, the first unit of LIRR's L2 class, along with a couple of FA power packs. The L2 class (222-229) were delivered in 1968 with hi-adhesion (aka Hi-Aid) trucks, a first on the Long Island RR, whereas the L1 class (200-221) had the standard Alco GSC type B trucks.
