Remarks: EL F3 7144 leads a mixed group of units which will couple onto a westbound freight. This unit had been Erie 714-D and was purchased from the defunct NYO&W. This was the second day at Port Jervis and also the only time that I saw an Alco F unit in the new color scheme.

Remarks: EL F7 6351 and three other units sit at Port Jervis with a freight about to head west. This unit is the former DL&W 635-A. Good friend Roger Cook and I spent two afternoons and nights here in very cold weather in order to photograph both the old and new on EL.
