A westbound manifest decends the west slope of Donner Summit passing over the Upper Cascade Bridge near Troy, CA. In a view not possible on foot, the Kidd Lake is in the photo.

Peeking through/sandwiched by perfectly snow covered trees, the 600 works East at Soda Springs.

At the time, freshly re-painted UP 604 leads a flanger westbound. I dont know how in the heck that broome stays there through all of the snow plowing.

The spreader has just exited Shed 10 as it continues to plow Westward.

On Jul 9, 2022 BNSF 8178 pushes on the rear end if an eastbound ethanol train on the MRLs 4th Subdivision near Trout Creek, MT.

Crossing the famous bridge at Keddie with a light coat of snow is a brand new SD70M. Notice the BNSF train off in the distance waiting for a new crew!??
