Two leased EMD's near Glenwood with train 171.

A mine run from the massive complex at Hull arrives into Auville Yard with a trio of EMD standard cabs including two CEFX (former BN) SD40-2's and an NS SD40-2.

Montreal to Binghamton manifest 250 begins to accelerate from a stop and will head south towards a crew change in Saratoga Springs. This train is about to enter the Adirondack Park.

Mason City, IA, to Marquette, IA, manifest train rolls eastbound a few miles outside of Charles City. 2 CITX 40's and a IC&E SD40 power this 62 cars train. The train is 91 miles from Marquette.

With the resurgence of lease junk on NS here's a fine example on a local transfer heading up the Toledo Belt.

West of Plymouth finds an old wooden bridge that goes over the once double tracked Pennslyvania Chicago Line, sadly the Pennsy is no more but trains are still to come by, like CHFW heading upgrade... (more)

With the sun only having a few minutes before dipping below the horizon a Paducah & Louisville empty coal train heads back to the mine for a refill.

MBNAS splits a pair of B&O CPLs on the Springfield Sub. Their replacements sat patiently by for a quite a long time before finally being put into service. The CPLs are now gone along the line.
