Coming into the small yard at Camden, an SD45 is leading a herd of diesels returning to service across the system after shop time at Pine Bluff.
Illinois Central ultimately acquired the very first SD45 produced by EMD. Prototype SD45 4351 became IC 7000 in January 1971. The 7000 lasted until 1987, when it was scrapped.
