An old gal, still goin strong! Shortly after bring the Private car "Cyrus K Holiday" from the Kirkam St. Coach Yard, 794 awaits signal indication to head back to the confines of the coach yard.
Amtrak 14 sits at the Oakland Jack London Square station. Not in view is the coach yard crew along with switcher AMTK 794 taking PV Silver Lariat off the end.
After running down the middle of Embarcadero, 9581 is nearing the west end of the street running trackage in Oakland.
Making its way down to Los Angelos, an On-time #11 (yes, its possible) waits for a Clear signal indication, before departing south with the ailing 470 in tow.

In the east, I tend to associate street running with coal trains - photographing Amtrak in the middle of a busy street was a very interesting sight!
Vehicular and pedestrian traffic pay no mind to the approaching UP freight.
After watching numerous Amtrak trains on the Embarcadero, a BNSF freight makes an appearance at 4:31PM.
