| Conrail NB-39 works Stone Container on the Ford Lead in Teterboro, NJ. NB-39 was the regular relief for the OI-31 crew which brought this job up to the Pascack Valley Line from Oak Island Yard every weekday morning. NB-39 went on duty in the late afternoon, with the crew handling most switching on the Ford Lead before returning east after the evening rush. Traffic levels at the time kept OI-31 busy working the active leads between East Rutherford and Teterboro between the morning and evening rush. As of the date this is being posted in 2023 there are no longer any active customers on the Ford Lead, although it remains intact. |
