Remarks & Notes
A still life photo of Rio Grande's sturdy brick and roof tiled passenger station on 3rd West and 6th South in Provo, Utah. The structure opened for business on January 2, 1911 as a 'Union Station' for both the Rio Grande and the Union Pacific railroads. It served the community well until 1986 when it was dismantled and replaced by a tiny glass bus shelter for Amtrak passenger trains.
